A “Conscious Conversation” with Candace Folden, MS, LCMHC – Free Event
Why do we attach to others the way we do?
Where do these patterns come from?
Are we stuck with them or can they change?
Our “attachment style” is a set of subconscious programs or beliefs based in early childhood experiences. These programs are so powerful that they are a major influence on how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world.
Understanding these programs leads to self-awareness and compassion which is the foundation of long-lasting relationships built on acceptance, trust, and love – something we all long for.
During our conversation with Candace, we will learn about the 4 attachment styles: Anxious-Preoccupied, Fearful-Avoidant, Dismissive-Avoidant, and Secure. She will also help us understand how they develop and how they show up in our every day lives.
Date: Tue., Oct. 29
Time: 6:30 – 8:30 PM, Eastern Time
Place: Zoom
