A Discussion Group with 
Linda Brown and Rebecca Henson

Pondering Cafe is a reflection and discussion group based on the belief that we enrich ourselves by truly listening to the truth of others and by expressing our own truth in return.



This process deepens our spiritual growth as we listen to our inner responses to others and draw on the energy of the group to propel our own journeys. 



Under the guidance of Linda and Rebecca, together we will create a safe space. Facilitators will offer one word as a prompt for individual reflection. Then we will practice sacred listening and sharing as we offer to the group our thoughts and feelings in response to what this word arouses within us. Examples of the words include: beginnings, acceptance, baggage, evolving, divine, etc.



Please join us for tea or coffee and for deep pondering and heartfelt sharing.

TIME: 6:30 – 8:00 pm

ABOUT OUR FACILITATORS

Linda Brown is a founding faculty member of The School. She is a published author and poet, as well as a retired professor of African American studies. She brings years of wisdom as a spiritual student and teacher to her programs, taking participants into deep reflection, discussion, and learning.

With a background in education, counseling and leadership development, Rebecca Henson commits her talents to helping others become more effective in their personal lives and to integrate their life choices with their spiritual journeys. She believes these times call for people to bring their inner peace and self-awareness into their relationships.

This is Rebecca’s first time teaching for The School. We are grateful to her for wanting to share her many gifts with us.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel before one week prior to the event, you will get a refund minus a $10 processing fee. If you cancel within one week of the event, there is no refund. If you cancel due to unavoidable circumstances, please discuss this with us.
